$3,300,000.00: A sixty five year old retired upholster was struck and killed by a commercial vehicle while crossing the road in a crosswalk. The company was refusing to take responsibility claiming because the pedestrian was intoxicated, he was at fault. Through a top-notch accident re-constructionist we were able to demonstrate the time available to the operator of the truck to stop prior to striking and killing the man in the crosswalk. The panel of arbitrators found the presentation of the re-enactment video based on the findings of the expert to be compelling. The panel found the operator of the truck to be 85% at fault for the collision. It was a tragic loss for the family but we are pleased that their loss was acknowledged and that they will have some financial security going forward.

June 07, 2017 Naizby Law brings to trial a claim for a 33 year old obgyn nurse Andrea P. who was hit by a vehicle while on her way to work and brought a claim again her insurance company Geico after she was diagnosed with a bulging disc requiring physical therapy and facet point injections into the muscles in her back. Geico claimed she was not hurt, as she continued to take part in road races and obstacle course races including "The Rugged Maniac". After two days of trial and about 90 minutes of deliberation the Jury returned a verdict in the amount of $300,000.00. We were happy that the jury understood how even though Andrea attempts to do all the things she did before the crash that she has to modify how she does them and lives with discomfort on a daily basis.
